I don't understand this attraction for older women and feel it would be a short term thing. I'm not looking for a bit of fun so wouldn't consider them just for that. I am talking guys in their thirties/forties and a woman over 50. I find that the guys who seem most interested and, in all honesty, genuine in wanting a relationship, are much younger. I always say no, they are too young, but I feel I have hurt some guys. Would it be madness for an older woman to get involved with younger guy?

Not saying you are wrong in asking he change his communication style, but wondering if the two of you aren't feeding off of each others defensiveness. And perhaps he feels that you are attempting to place blame on him in a way to avoid dealing with whatever he brought up? What did he say when you told him that you didn't feel he was giving enough TLC? (As I said, I don't know if this applies or not, just throwing out ideas and thoughts.) You said this argument started because you hate the way he talks to you? What are you referring to? So my question is, what's his side of the story?

Of course I couldn't help but having a look at them ;-) Although they date back to 1994 I can still see how much he adored the girl as the letters are just so passionate, desperate, so much love in them. And that is really painful! Therefore, I know EXACTLY what you all feel like.
