It sounds like this guy's interest in you was apparently to hook up with you in a bar through a txt message booty call to "meet him somewhere" instead of actually calling you for a real date. If it is your intention to 'date' him under these circumstances, then just txt him and ask him to meet you somewhere.

I was fine with the idea she was seeing him again today. Although things were not solved, we were content with our situation again. No phone call yet. Dare i say i even turned the conversation cheerful. She told me she would call when she got home. I feel like we reached a level of comfort before the end of the conversation.

Don't start acting like her BF just because you had one fun night together. She's not your gf so she's got no obligation to get back to you or text you regularly or in a certain manner. Skip the day to day convos about nonsense and just send her a text either tomorrow or the following day if she hasn't replied or reached out by then. Then just wait till you see her on the 2nd date to ask yourself these questions.
