If you've been together for 6 months and she's looking to take it to the next step and you're actually looking for the exit... well, there WILL be fallout, have no doubt. So my husband offered to help care for my dad. isn't that the truth? That went on until August, and by that time, he convinced Dad to move in with us, in another part of the state. Last year, we were told that my dad wouldn't live to see Easter (which was March 23), so my sister and I took turns caring for him in our childhood home. Something about a guy's depth of compassion toward his family can sometimes be very humbling.

He lives with his sister and her husband. It's an hour drive and a 2-3 hour train ride. He has a small room and we live long distance so there's a toll to enter the city I live in. They have 3 kids.
