I'm just not attracted to that many men, although I do go against the stereotypes here, and like men who are good men. I was number 2, doing my own thing, trying to work on any issues, and I wasn't bitter (but I would stand up for myself against men trying to cause trouble in my life). I know that a part of my problem in this area, is that I was agoraphobic during a chunk of "the best years of my life" and guys who know me tend to love me, but I wasn't meeting anyone. Kindness, and their attitude, trumps other things. I've always been hesitant, due to experiences from my childhood, but also open to it happening.

There's plenty of room for resentment. Likewise, imagine working and handing over your entire paycheck over to your frugal spouse. Certain people value money in their own way. Try to think of it as a difference in values. Since they value money differently, a frugal man is slighted when his wife spends his money. What usually happens in my experience is that people marry and merge their bank accounts.

Get the thought that you look serious out of your mind, you most likely looked tired, miserable or even angry.

we live in different cities but they are very close so commuting is not an issue... we've been going out on dates for about 10 weeks and have become intimate but have not yet slept together... i'm 25, male, young professional, she's 23 and a full-time student... things have indeed moved slowly and i get the sense that she tends to be a little more on the traditional side when it comes to relationships which is fine with me... quick background info... 1st kiss about 6 weeks into the relationship, made things *official* per her request just about 3 weeks ago...
