She replied that she was busy. A lot of what you're saying makes it sound like there's some kind of hope to this still. That's when I brought it up that I didn't want to drag things out any longer. I asked her if she was still down to grab drinks one night and she said sure, but didn't answer when I asked when she was free. Told her I enjoyed spending time with her and want to see where things go if she's still up for it. She replied a day later with her response: Then it turned into 2-3 days now. Originally, I played it cool, trying to talk to her, but she would never reciprocate or answer questions like she use to. To give more of a background, the weeks following that one weekend, a lot of her texts started to get non engaging. We use to text everyday for a good amount like 10 minute replies. So I tried again the next day and asked if the weekend would work. I told her I noticed she started to distance herself and wanted to know if she was comfortable talking about it.

Neither of us is ready for kids right now, but I dont want to be in a relationship with someone who doesnt see that as a possibility with me ever. He is 5 years younger so its not really on his radar right now.
