They've got experience - not just sexually (though that certainly helps) but basic life experience. I'm 50 and I'm SO glad I'm this age because I happen to LOVE women over 40. Generally, they've really got it all together.

When it started, I didn't see him as being a rebound, but as time progressed I started to notice that although we got along really well, I was kind of using him to get over my ex. There's a 90% chance you'll be a rebound girl. We were good friends prior to dating (and when I was still with my ex) and then about 2 weeks after my break up, him and I got together. Same thing happened with my recent ex.
