We went out for a meal together once, my parents, brother and boyfriend. I had my brother one side building a turret out of the left over bones of his dinner and my boyfriend the other side sitting really stiffly and looking horrified.

I put the details in the post because when someone is in the middle of one of these situations they are blinded to the damage that is being done and I was simply trying to convince others that it is not worth it. You obviously missed the point of why I posted this. I am simply trying to stop someone else from making the same mistakes I did.

It really messes with my mind! ...But I still feel the passive judgement. this past weekend we went skiing and I told him I was not planning on wearing my ski pants on the drive up and so he told me that so we don't have to take 2 pairs of boots on the trip with us, he suggested I wear a specific pair. But I know him well enough to know that he suggested one pair over the other, because he prefers how one looks on me vs the other in leggings vs ski pants (which he admitted to later). E.g.
