If she doesnt take it well, then she probably isn't a good long term partner. A true sign of longevity, is your partner listening to what upsets you and adjusting some things to make you feel more at ease. If she loves you, she will not see you as "needy" but as a human being who is allowed to have issues and problems. I really hate the word "needy". You should talk openly to her about your feelings and worries and anxiety.
