Perhaps I've experienced a lot of death, hardships, and realism early in my life that I could never really relate to the 20 something crowd which just seem like children, and now that I've gotten in my late 20's I even see that in the 30's and 40's crowd. I don't have family since they were all older and died off in my late teens.

There are undoubtedly other factors at play here. I see no evidence in this graph that online dating is making dating any better or easier. My thoughts are that 1) The 20% number is exaggerated and 2) even if it isn't, statistics are completely meaningless without context. There's nothing in the graph that proves that the declines in the other methods people use to meet their partners are a result of online dating being a better method. Take work for example: the fact that fewer people are meeting at work then they were 40 years ago probably has a lot to do with the declines in male participation in the workforce, and that dating in the workplace has become less socially accepted because of sexual-harassment lawsuits, bands on workplace relationships, etc.

added by Appallingly for Abd Alsattar on 07.04.2021 in 09:17The problem is that was several months ago. I tried to talk it out, but we're at a stalemate. Here is the problem. I still have mine. Mostly cause of laziness, but also because I don't like being hinted at or told what to do, I want it to be my decision. What can I do? She threw out all her old pictures of ex's long ago. I don't really care about the pictures much or throwing them out. Now she is really upset because one, I broke my promise, and for another, now she thinks I'm not over my ex because I still have her pictures. I'm a 25 year old man, and she is one year younger than me. They are in a drawer in the garage, and I seldom look at them. She hinted (she didn't demand) that maybe I should get rid of them because it bothered her, before we got married. We plan to get married. She recently was moving boxes and discovered that I had not thrown them away at all. I have a great girlfriend. I want to make her happy, and I could never be in a relationship and do something knowingly that upset her, so I promised I would.
