During those years, many years ago, I recall only too well the windburn I felt from the gale force of multitudes of women blowing by to get at the 'real men', one of whom you outlined in that thread. A sad end to twenty years as an old-fashioned good man who would have been happy to support a family, as my father did ours. It was truly disheartening.
